GRIDLIFE Touring Cup (GLTC) – Approved Tires
GRIDLIFE Touring Cup (GLTC) is one of the most exciting and competitive wheel-to-wheel sprint racing series in the country. With the motto “race for the racing, not the result,” GLTC prioritizes tight, respectful competition and creative car builds.
The series uses a 12.5 lbs per horsepower power-to-weight formula, with adjustments (Balance of Performance) based on aero, drivetrain, and tire choice. This unique ruleset allows for a wide range of competitive builds, creating thrilling short-format races—typically 12–15 minutes, run four times per weekend—at GRIDLIFE’s festival-style motorsport events. Every race is livestreamed to GRIDLIFE Live for maximum fan engagement.
To keep racing close and fair, GLTC has an approved list of tires that fall under its 200+ treadwear category, each with specific balance-of-performance (BOP) adjustments.
